what do you think is fair market value on older tech?

I have a buddy who is looking to sell a:

-asus rampage 3

-24GB ram dr 1600

-i7-970 gulftown 3.2 six core

what do you think he can realistically get for this set up?

Edit: i did mean the 970

You mean Core i7-970.

Also not really sure but have you looked on eBay, I'd imagine the Gulftown would still fetch a fair amount.

I usually give my old build to people that don't have a PC. by the time I've finished with it it not worth alot in the aftermarket.

and most people that don't have a pc, just want the internet any way

I just sold a "seller refurbished" PC with an I7-920, 8GB Ram, 500GB HD, the 600W PSU it came with and a GTX 650 2GB for 700 bucks. I'd say sell it.
