Buying New Displays

Go to solution Solved by Oshino Shinobu,

If you're prepared to go for $210, then the Dell U2414H is what I'd recommend, they're excellent.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GTV05XG/?tag=pcpapi-20&th=1

Looking for three displays for tripple monitor setup.

Displays need:

60hz +

1920x1080+

between 20in and 24inch

Thin AF bezels

VESA Mountable

Budget between $100 and $200

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/vW38TW/acer-monitor-r240hybidx

Has great specs, and low bezels but isn't vesa mountable without a $25 additional mount.

https://www.amazon.com/Viotek-H250-Computer-Monitor-Frameless/dp/B06Y3ZXGMQ/ref=pd_sbs_147_3?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B078Z1LH59&pd_rd_r=RY63E1ZE9HB0EJAJ69XR&pd_rd_w=T4H7l&pd_rd_wg=f5Pv0&refRID=RY63E1ZE9HB0EJAJ69XR&th=1

Weird company I've never heard of, but seems very great for the price and very little bezel. Although I can't find any information on VESA mountability.

Thanks for help/suggestions

if he plans on mounting them anyway, he doesnt even need to go for the 210 vs, he can get the 199 version without a stand and just mount them. keeping it within the 200$ budget

If they're new, might as well, yeah. Don't know if they're used/ex-display ones or if they're just sold that way by Dell.

DO you think the quality will be much different from https://pcpartpicker.com/product/vW38TW/acer-monitor-r240hybidx

The specs look about the same. Worth the extra $50?

Quality on the Dell U2414 (or U2417, they're mostly the same) is much better and worth the $50 IMO.

For 60Hz, 1080p IPS monitors, I'd say Dell U-H series are the best and are worth the cost.

specs often mean very little when it comes to comparing displays. There are a lot of irl aspects of displays that aren't represented in just specs. Dell UltraSharps get much better QC and higher end parts resulting in less backlight and individual pixel issues. They also get factory calibration iirc so you can trust in it being tuned properly out of the box which the Acer probably won't be.
