Disk 100%

Hi,

 

Why my Disk loading on 100% frequently and slow down my pc. Anyone know how to fix this?

This is just a regular office pc, no gaming or video editing, but we open multiple browse 8-10 tabs.

That's what happens with HDDs. They are really slow. That's the reason an SSD makes the system a lot more snappy.

Depends what your doing on the disk, as said HDD do load up pretty quick but sometimes it can be a windows problem constantly taxing your disk at 100%.

get a SSD

then more RAM (assuming the computer isn't completely shit at this point, like a 4790k)

Most of the time it's a windows problem that causes your hard drive to be pinned at 100%. This is a really common problem. I usually just back up my personal data on a external drive then re-install windows from a thumb drive.

Windows is doing something weird. It may be having a reoccurring issue like a problem with Windows Search starting over and over again, or it may just be Windows updating itself in the background, or it may be Windows Defender doing its thing (it's thing is fucking up your computer constantly)
