I just don't know....HELP!

So recently my old gaming pc, now used by my dad and brother has been freezing up. Most instances it will freeze for a couple minutes then go back to normal and at times it will freeze up completely. 

What I've done so far:

-Bought new ram
-Virus and Malware checks
-Updated all drivers
-Checked all possible hardware through system checks
-Deleted temp files
 

but the problem still exist, so now I'm turning to you guys for help. When the computer isn't frozen it works perfectly and temps and usage are normal. 

 

In case it's hardware specific I'll list the components,

Amd fx-8320 (or 50 cant remember)
gigabyte board
new 16gb of ram
amd r9 270x (i think)
a 250gb ssd and 1tb hdd

and a coolermaster psu

What exactly do you mean when you say "it freezes up"?

Did you try reinstalling the operating system?
Or at least if on windows run sfc scannow?

sfc said nothing was wrong, my last resort is reinstalling the os,

Like you can't do anything, the computer isn't responding to your input, Stuck, frozen, glued, broken

Try reinstalling windows. It might be corrupted on your drive.

faaaaaa**k, i guess thats the only option, or just let me family deal with a stupid pc.
