Huge ping spikes in online gaming

Hello people, I have been getting huge ping spikes in pubg .the ping is nearly 150 which is okay but it goes up suddenly to 1200 ping and I don't know why.its sad that I use mobile hotspot for gaming because there's no broadband service near my house because of wiring problems.and my sim card provider gives 4G 3Gb/day for a month at just 5$ with  decent download speed of 3 to 4 MBPS

what should I do.i was about to buy a router which uses sim card and turns it into WiFi and can be used as USB tethering for pc .I don't know weather I was able to explain properly or not but that's how it is! thank you in advance

BTW i live in India

You are most likely connected and matched with players on the Mumbai instance. These are the three ip addresses that are known to be used for the PUBG servers in Mumbai (sourced from this website);

13.126.0.252
35.154.63.252
52.66.66.2

For further analysis what you can do is the following,

In Windows open the command line by typing 'CMD' in the search field and pressing enter. A black command line interface will now open. Type the following: ping 13.126.0.252 -n 10000

This command will start pinging this ip address every second, 10.000 times. You will start seeing the response time of each ping. Keep an eye on this over a longer period of time. Do you notice packet loss or packets that have a really high response time? Then you know something is up with the route between you and their servers. At this point you can start pinging some other websites, for example the one of your ISP, to see if that has similar problems. If it does then it is probably the mobile connection. Sometimes this can be fixed on your end, by using a better device to make the connection like a dedicated 4G router as you said, but sometimes the problem is with the mobile provider (ISP) towers, if that is the case then it is very unlikely you can do anything besides switching provider to resolve your problem.

PC: i7-6700k, GTX 1070, 32GB DDR4, 256GB NVMe, 1TB SSD, 2x U2715H

VM Server (Proxmox): E5-1650v3, 64GB DDR4, 128GB NVMe, 1TB SSD, Intel X540-T2 10GbE

NAS: 2x Synology DS1817+, 16x 8TB Seagate IronWolf, 2x Intel X540-T1 10GbE

I have trouble connecting to the internet sometimes too. It's a really big hassle. Hopefully whoever helps you can also help me. BTW I live in North Korea.

On a serious note though, don't you have satellite options? The ones in the US aren't as bad as they used to be. India should have some decent options.

But I had ping in between 100-150 (playable for me) .the problem started on 22-03-2018 before that it was okay

This is the reason you have lag spikes.

if you are unable to get on a real network, then there is no resolution for you.
