My first build

Hey everyone,

 

Just wanted to post my son's and my first build.  We went with the new Ryzen 5 2400g and a used EVGA GTX 960 2gb.  Running an ASUS B350M Prime Mobo, 8gb of GSkills 3200mhz RAM, 128gb Adata NVME M.2 for the boot drive, WD 1tb platter drive for storage, 650 Watt Corsair PSU, a Rex Gear Predator cube case, also threw in a Deep cool RGB 360 kit for some flare.  All in all, we are very happy with the build.  It's a budget build with quality parts IMO.  It boots lighting fast and plays games with respectable FPS.

Nice, clean build.

 

I have to ask though, why get the APU if you were getting a dGPU? Why not just get a Ryzen 5 1400 and have the extra 4 threads?
