Is my GPU dying?

My PC, is doing weird things, it will freeze, then the screen with go blank then its back on again

 

my GPU is a GT730 2GB DDR3

 

I just need a simple answer, not the onslaught of "the GT730 isnt a good card" i just need a simple answer 

 

can GPUs even die like hard drives do

Yes they can die; no not like hard drives. Make sure the card is clean and the thermal paste is still decent.  It could be an issue with the cable too, so check the different outputs and see if it's just the one.

you need to try using a different card for a while (or integrated graphics) and see if you have the same issue. make sure geforce driver is up to date, update to latest bios revision, check thermals on the card to make sure it's not overheating, and try using a different display. The nature of the problem is also important, such as, does it freeze while gaming? does it do this randomly with no reason? does it only do it while a certain application is open? ect. please provide more context and try the trouble shooting steps listed.

do you get a little message when the display comes back up that says GPU kernel has stopped responding and has restarted?

The card idles at 100°

It freezes on google chrome

Mobo graphics suck on my pc

I have 2 displays hooked up and they both freeze and shut off

is that 100c or f? if it's celsius, you may have found your problem.
