Hello all,

 

New build here (list below) and everything works great except one of my ram dims isn't detected by my bois or windows. is this a problem with ryzen or is it likely just a DOA ram dim?

Also, I switched the RAM dim's and then switched them back and now the working dim isn't working...

is everything at stock in the BIOS? Try removing the battery from your board for about 30s and then placing it back in and testing.

There are 4 DIMM slots, have you tried moving the RAM Sticks around to see what happens? If it works after a quick jig-around, then one of the Dims might be DOA, but it's extremely unlikely. Just move the sticks around and re-seat the CPU and be sure that there's nothing in the socket or pins.
