Hi so I’m new to this building your own pic and right now I want to build an apu with ryzen 5 until prices drop for gaming (not that hard core of a gamer) but I was wondering if this build was perfect or was there going to be errors I run into https://pcpartpicker.com/list/fYWRGG

 

also the question is if you guys could help me build one for less than 600... because I’m not really an expert at this...

I think it looks good but I would also get a 1 terabyte hard drive also because at least for me I have found myself running out of space on small SSD's. There is one small incompatibility where you would have to update the BIOS on the motherboard since the CPU came out after the motherboard. I do not know how to do that though so I would ask other people. Anyways it looks like a good build to me but I would also get a few other peoples opinions though. Good luck!

Hi so I was looking at that too but appearntly it has to have 2000 amd ready and the motherboard has that on their website but I’m going to call amd and confirm that...

Well, if you want to get 2000 CPU running on current boards, you need a BIOS update and without compatible CPU you can't do that. So, you have these options

• Easier one: wait a month until new mobos are released
• Harder, but faster one: get from AMD bootkit, they will lend you a CPU for BIOS update

And now to your build. If price is everything, don't buy a SSD, regular 1TB HDD will do just fine. And I would also get a modular PSU so you can fit it into the case better. And for RAM, get Flare X instead of Ripjaws, Flare X have better compatibility.
