Hello, I have a Asus TUF B350M-Plus Gaming motherboard, and when I connect the cooler to the RGB header, it stays red and isn't detected by Asus' Aura Sync software. Any clues on how to fix it?

Make sure the connector is oriented correctly for the headers as it's not keyed.

tried both ways, one puts my led green and the other red

There is a correct way to connect it, there should be a small arrow for you to line up, it will not work properly if wired backwards. For example on an LED strip.

The arrow portion on your cable should be towards the +12V pin (bottom) of the RGB header. You should be able to then use the Aura software to change the colors appropriately.

It should work if the software is up to date and working properly. What are you getting for the lighting right now?

still red and doesnt show on the software

The software is working but it's not registering the motherboard header for the control. It's only the RAM that's currently working which is why the CPU fan isn't displaying the correct color.

It's on it's default setting it seems which is red, try reinstalling the latest version of Aura software to see if it resolves that problem.

When I tried connecting to the included smart device in the h400i it turned a salmon-ish pink color

It won't work with that they use a different protocol than the standard 12V RGB connection. You might want to see if other RGB devices will register on the header or try contact Asus to see if it's an issue with their software.

Is there any other software that would be able to make it work?

Oh and btw, shouldnt the GPU also show there? Its a Sapphire Rx 580 Nitro+ 8gb. I also wanted to change the leds on that

That depends this board isn't Aura sync compatible just Aura so you may not have control over it other than through the GPU's included software.

Well, is that why maybe the cpu doesnt show?

Is there a chance maybe some other software is messing with it? I have corsair link, cam and asus aura sync

It shouldn't interfere with it, it just seems that as of right now it's physically not recognizing that the board has an RGB header itself.
