I just got a logitech 403. It's acting super weird. I also just got a logitech g640 mousepad. When i put the mousepad on top of the table im using, the mouse doesn't work. but when I but a book on top of the table and then put my mousepad over that book, it works fine. Essientially, the mouse doesn't work with my table, even when using a mousepad. Fix?

So what I'm hearing is that the mouse works fine on top of a book? what about a regular piece of paper?? do you have another mousepad around?

Folks have reported issues with tracking on this pad when it gets dirty.

If the mouse functions on other surfaces it is not a cable issue. Did you calibrate/tune your mouse to the surface?
