This is real funky.

I recently upgraded to a Gigabyte X99M Gaming 5, keeping my existing Core i7-6850K. All of my RAM is being picked up by the UEFI/BIOS and in CPU-Z, but not in the rest of Windows. Task Manager and the system report in Control Panel all report only 24GB usable and present, despite the system having 32GB. CPU-Z even reports 32GB present by SPD. On a previous board (Asus X99A-II), everything worked just fine. What gives?

"Not breaking it or making it worse is key."
