First pc build

Hello, this is my first time collecting the hardware and building my first computer.

 

My computers purpose will be for gaming and video editing/photo shop,the theme will be Silver/pink with black accents.

 

My budget currently is between 2800-3000 US dollars. My intent is to use 1 27 inch 1440p monitor( maybe a upgrade for content creation) for comfortable wiggle room, this post is for suggestions and information on the items I have selected for my computer and to seek insight.

          GIGABYTE Z370 AORUS Gaming 5

- CPU / Intel i7 8700k coffee lake

- CPU Cooler / corsair H100i v2

- Ram / Corsair Dominator Platinum 32gb

- graphics card - gtx 1080 founders ( waiting on new releases to see if the new card is worth/ will buy if reasonably priced.)

- Hard drive / Samsung 960 EVO Series 500gb 

       - secondary drive / Samsung SSD 1tb

- fans / 3 corsair AF140 LED fans

=personalizations - front mounted gpu for my blower founders edition 1080 gtx

- white cable mod cable, full kit for my fully modular power supply

- 2 LED strips for the lining of the case

zip ties ect. For cable management
