I plan on probably slight OC at first, I have not done cpu overclock yet but I intend to in the future. I plan of getting the ryzen 5 1600 and upping it to stock values of the 1600x from the get go.

either mobo will most likely do fine, I have the X370 K7 version and its overkill but its your choice

There's pretty much no tangible benefit to that particular 370 board that I can tell, all the benefits the chipset supports the mobo doesn't seem to make use of, not sure why it is even a thing. 

CPU: AMD Sempron 2400+ / MOBO: Abit NF7-S2G / GPU: WinFast A180BT 64MB / RAM: Mushkin DDR333 256MBx2 / HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 120GB
