Laptop Recommendations Requested!

Hey everyone I am looking to buy a laptop as soon as I get my tax return and am looking for recommendations.

Here is a list of what I am looking for.

• Quad core processer
• 16gb ram
• Dedicated GPU
• SSD (boot or primary drive)
• Touch Screen (This just seems massively useful for word processing. I will welcome opinions but count them as just that.)
• 15" to 17" (I am willing to take recommendations on this. From what I have seen looking at laptops in stores I see no real advantage to the 17 over the 15 in usable viewing area.)

My price range is up to $1300.

 

I will be using this computer for some gaming, school work, and to run ARCGIS for school and possibly work in the future. Any recommendations y'all have would be appreciated.

i would be on the look out for this machine, it has a pretty solid gpu cpu combo for its form factor and flexibility including touchscreen capabilities

 

if you can hold off till this thing comes out i would highly recommend it

About 940MX performance. MX150 (25W) is about 50% faster

I think I am looking for something a little more in the range of a gtx 1050.

So I will at this point have to tell you to please look at the specs I posted that I wanted 

 

16 gb ram

ssd hdd

touch screen

quad core cpu

dedicated gpu

$1300 cost

 

None of the options you have recommended match what I want. Two of them don't have a dedicated gpu. One of them doesn't have a option for 16gb memory. And the Yoga 720 15 is the only one with the specs that is also $200 over my budget. It does look like a good option but is outside my price range.

It's really hard to find a laptop that can fulfill ALL your requirements (especially HDD+SSD, GTX 1050 dGPU and touchscreen) and WITHIN your budget. Both laptops have GTX 1050. Every country has different configurations for every laptop models so I can't confirm they have 16GB RAM or not. Also, prices of laptops vary in different countries. Would it be better if you can provide some links of online stores in your country?
