OK, so I've owned my PC for around 9 months now and last week I booted up my PC to no avail everything booted, fans everything but no display, I noticed the EZ debug light on my motherboard was showing a CPU error so I turned my PC off pulled my cooler off and cleaned and re-sat my CPU, turned my PC back on and still nothing and still error light, I re-sat my ram 1 by 1 and nothing, I reset the cmos and nothing, so I left my PC running while I went to work and when I got back there was no CPU error light and my PC worked fine...the next day the CPU error debug light was back and nothing would work, at some point the light went away and the computer worked and now this morning the light is back and my PC boots up, fans spinning everything but the CPU debug light is on an my PC won't display anything...

Have you tried checking if everything's plugged in properly? maybe something got knocked loose when you pulled off your cooler. Also make sure that you didnt tight the cpu cooler too much. also maybe try another cpu / test your 7500 on another mobo.

Yeah I've checked all the cables, would tightening the CPU cooler cause this, I may try loosening it slightly I guess but given that it's worked on and off for the past week I don't on now if that would be the cause, because it hasn't been working and I haven't touched it and then it will randomly start working again

Nah,  this is my first ever proper PC and so these parts are the only modern parts I own

What about friend's PC?

So far all I see is that there's an issue with the CPU or it could be RAM. Did you try booting the system with only one stick?

Could you clarify this poart? By running do you mean you simply turned it on despite it not showing anything on display, then when you got back it worked?

I've read something about the backplate of the cooler shorting with the motherboard when tightened too much. I've had it happened to me aswell before with my i5 4570 rig. I think I was using a Noctua L9i/Cryorig C7 and i tightened it way too much that my PC wont boot.

Yeah so basically my PC was turned on with all the fans and everything running but still no display and the CPU debug light was on and I went to work,  I got home and the PC was in the main windows hoke screen with no CPU error

Ill see if I can use a friend PC to test my CPU and yes I've tried booting with one stick of ram, each stick I'm every slot and I still get the debug light and no display

Perhaps there's a problem with connection. Can you check the pins on the CPU? Maybe some are bent.

I've checked the pins on the motherboard many times and they all appear to be perfectly fine, it just doesn't make sense that one day it randomly wouldn't boot and now every second or so day it will work no problem until turned off and then the debug light comes back and it doesn't work

I've just loosened the backplate to what seems reasonable and I still get the CPU debug error, I didn't think this would be the case because it suddenly wouldn't work one day,  I hadn't touched the CPU cooler for months before this incident

@Joewalk11 That's just it, you need to test your CPU in naother system. And if that doesn't work, you need to check the motherboard:/

I know it might be hard to achieve, but it is something that you need to do.

Perhaps a local tech store can help you out with that for a small price?

Yeah, I've got a couple around, guess I'll have to head in some time to see if they can figure out what's wrong, thanks!
