Does RM850i fit into Fractal Design Meshify C Mini?

wanted to do a system build on pcpartpicker to check the compatibility of the components i want to get, but got confused regarding the PSU and my case. It says that RM850i is incompatible with Fractal Design Meshify C Mini, although it is compatible with RM650i. what confuses me is that both power supplies have the same dimensions. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

There is no max length power supply listed on the product page so any standard ATX form factor Power supply should work without issue in the case.

Why do you want an 850W PSU in the first place?

Fractal recommends PSUs shorter than 175mm, the RM850i is 180mm. Looks like there's a HDD cage in the way, not sure if you can remove it.

so in other Words SLi will never happen and you are wasting money on it.

Because this Summer the next generation is coming...

And the biggest problem is that SLI rarely even works these days...

Because Fractal says:

Power supply depth limit

Maximum 175mm recommended

And the RMi 750/850 as well as HXi is 180mm...

Yeah, that's plenty for a single CPU/GPU System
