SMS authentication...

So I'm trying to sign up for this website but it requires verification via a 4digit code that is suppose to be sent to you in a txt msg (SMS).  Now I'm at wits end trying to get this to work.  I have steam and blizzard set up with SMS notification and am getting those but for some reason I'm not getting these certain ones.  This lead me to believe that it is an issue on their end but trying a few of those online SMS sender websites I'm not getting any of those either...  

 

My phone is a galaxy S5 on the rogers network,  I also tried my GF phone which is a S8 on the telus network and am getting the same results on both phones/networks...  I can send a receive messages from the two phones and get SMS alerts from my steam and blizzard accounts but using any online webservice or requesting a code through the website I get nothing.

 

Their online help was useless and just recommend me trying a different browser and device which I've already covered...

 

I know other canadians on their so don't think its a region issue.

 

Any thoughts?

Either there is a problem with their service, or its a scam site stealing your information.

Its most defiantly a legit site and actually has entering all info except email after the SMS verification step.  I would say its a problem with their service but the fact that other well known sites like https://globfone.com/send-text/ are not being recieved makes me think its something on my end.

I dont think its on your end, You tried with 2 different phones on different networks. If there was an issue on your end, then it would likely be a routing issue with your carrier. But since there is 2 different carriers you tried with, its definitely not on your end and on the websites end or whoever they use for the SMS verification.

But I'm not getting the SMS from the online services that have worked previously for me so its more than just the site I'm trying to sign up for...

its possible then that the ones you are not getting, could all use the same service to provide the SMS functionality. I am still not convinced that its your phone or on your end.
