Reference GTX 970 LED Replacement/Mod

I have a reference GTX 970 and honestly, am very sick of the puke green signage. I know a mod exists that requires sanding it and taking it apart to remove the paint, but I do not feel comfortable doing that, plus it looks fairly bad with no leds on under it after and was curious if anyone knew if LED replacement modules existed that I could just take it apart and swap the sign? Any and all help wanted.

You will need to take off the logo and sand it, there isn't a way to change the color of the plate without removing the coating they have overtop of the acrylic lettering.

I’m aware of that unfortunately, I’m trying to see if anyone knows if others were made (aftermarket or custom) that I can just replace the whole lettering piece.

Other than getting someone to machine you a new logo not that I have seen. You could get a cooler off ebay and modify that as you like for a replacement logo.
