Ok so I am running Msi GTX 560ti bought second hand on ebay £100 last year sometime

Trying to work out why I need to upgrade as the card runs games fine at around 45fps on Ultra , Far Cry 3 and the new Bioshock 1920x1080 plays great and smooth with only 1GB memory

trying to find a reason to upgrade but not sure there is a reason ?

Honestly only reason to upgrade is if you want higher resolution or want to play crysis.

As is at the moment there is nothing that really pushes graphics cards, but hopefully with the new consoles

we will be looking at some awesome games, i think destiny or Battlefield 4 will push graphics cards to the point

where we will need to have a nvidia 600 series or amd 7000 series card.

CPU: AMD FX-8350 - Noctua NH-D14 | Asus Crosshair V Formula | 16GB Kingston HyperX | Plextor M5P Extreme 256GB SSD

GPU - Asus AMD Radeon 6950 Direct CU II 2GB |

Seasonic 1000 W Platinum | Cooler Master 690 ii Advanced | Asus VE248H + VE248Q

at 1080p there isint really , games were still running on high with my 285 GTX , only upgrade when you feel your hardware doesn't do what you want it to do , dont feel like you should be pushed into an upgrade becuse someone says its the latest and greatest.

a 560 ti will run games perfectly fine , it all depends on what you want out of your experience.

i've found that at 1080p , i barely need any AA as it is so i never go higher than 4x msaa

Cheers guys all the hype and videos you see on youtube are well over the top , You never see posts that tell the real story of the games vs what you actually need to run games fine .

Pretty much a plea for money as always .

560ti is staying until something pushes it proper haha .

Don't upgrade unless you need to, otherwise it'll be a waste of money since hardware becomes cheaper over-time the more you wait the better.

If I were you I'd upgrade with the next gen of graphics cards, sometime in Q4 this year.
