I've been trying to replace my aging i7-3700k / GTX Titan custom watercooling PC for a while now.  Basically, I am looking for something close to current gen in the CPU and GPU and very near the the top end (8700k / 1080Ti).  I just don't have the time to build a custom loop anymore, but I really, really need a quiet / silent system.  I tried the Corsair One a few weeks back, but either Linus and I have VERY different definitions of 'silent' or my unit was defective, so back to Corsair it went.

In short, I was as much performance as I can get, but I will trade FPS for lower decibels if I have to.  I suppose I could resort to something like a Maingear build, but given the price premium, I'm not sure that I can justify it.

Anyway, systems that I am considering now:

- Zotac Magnus en1080k - A bit less performance than I would like, but may be good enough.  Would be willing to sacrifice that if I could be assured that it was really silent.

- Compulab airtop - No fans at all, but only up to a GTX 1060 appears to be available.

- Asus G20CB - Supposedly uses a special case design to reduce fan noise, but it depends where you're sitting in relation to the case.

Any suggestions would be welcome.  Pricing isn't super important, but I'm a bit leery of spending upwards of 5k on a custom loop from a boutique builder.

Like Majestic said, you're going to be better off building a PC with a custom loop yourself. You will get exactly what you want and won't have to pay the markup from a builder.

build the PC yourself?

OEM's are not going to put in expensive cooling for the 5% of the market that makes a big deal out of it.

Oh, agree that building one myself makes the most sense.  But, sadly, due to my current lifestyle this isn't really an option for me, for a variety of reasons.  I've been building custom machines since the 80's and feel sort of strange about buying a pre-built one, but if what I want actually exists, that's really the way that I feel I should go.
