Items not rendering in game

I have an issue in BF1 and BF4 where items like spotting flares, trip wire bombs and other items like those aren't rendering, I can't see them on my minimap, I do get spot assists, but as for myself they don't appear on map.

I checked the game for errors but that did not resolve anything.

I was wondering if there was some sort of GPU setting either in game or with radeo general settings I have to change. (RX 580)

Anyone have any ideas?
