Hey there community I thought it would be a smart idea to ask for help/opinions here before I go on a shopping spree.

 

Following the pinned Thread in this Forum I am just going to work down the five questions

 

1. Budget & Location:

I am trying to not spend more than 2000€ and all parts are going to be purchased in germany

 

2. Aim:

The aim of this build is mainly gaming & rendering @ 1080p. I play a wide variety of games including Overwatch / PUBG / League / Destiny and lot of new Steam games which should all run smoothly on higher+ settings preferably even new games for some time

 

3. I plan on running 2 Monitors at first both 1080p @ 144Hz but I will be getting a 3rd one sometime arround

I allready know which Monitor I am going to get so that one is probably not going to change for now ( https://de.pcpartpicker.com/product/rkphP6/asus-monitor-vg248qe )

 

4. Peripherals

As allready mentioned I am allready set on which Monitor I want, I also decided that the Keyboard should be one of the Corsair K series, probably a K70 or K95 havent found out yet what exactly the differences between them are. I recently bought a new mice so I wont need that aswell. I do need Windows but I heard I can use my old Win8 product key to activate a new Win10 copy, not sure if this is legitimate but I'll just try first I guess.

 

5. Why are you upgrading

I am upgrading because I just finished my Bachelor degree and previously played on an old laptop which should now get an upgrade due to the free time I have now!

 

So far I have decided on these components, nothing major yet:

 

Case: Phanteks - ECLIPSE P400 TEMPERED GLASS ATX Mid Tower Case

Monitor x2: Asus - VG248QE 24.0" 1920x1080 144Hz Monitor

SSD: Crucial - MX300 525GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

 

I hope someone of you guys can help a newcomer in the building scene out :)
