Nova launcher

Go to solution Solved by Oshino Shinobu,

It's fine. Nova launcher is one of the most well known and trusted launchers and it needs a pretty low level access so it can display notifications and such within the launcher.

I've been using it on multiple devices for the past year or so, no issues.

so i just got nova launcher prime so i can get access to all the features on my samsung galaxy s8, but for the notification badge to apear on app icons it needs access to notifications, i was wondering if it is safe to let it have access?
it says it can read all incoming text messages which seems kinda sketchy but it is a legit company so don't know.

Anyone have any experience with this? :)

It's trusted enough that Razer is using it as the launcher for the Razer Phone and a few Chinese brands as well use it.

It's perfectly fine, I've used it on every device I've had for the past several years, and will continue to do so.
