As you can see, my memoryclock is set to 800mhz, is this safe? I havent noticed any terring or so on.

I can take my core clock to +220 and every game and benchmark works fine except pubg.

But my real question is, whats going on with my memory clock ??

Yes you can add +800 to the memory clock, but why?

Really high memory clocks usually lower fps, so no reason to set your memory to that.

Set the memory overclock to something like +400, but even that wont give you a big performance boost, it is like 0.9% more fps.

TLDR Memory overclock matters if you are mining ethereum, on gaming it makes no difference.

Run the unigine heaven benchmark  by pressing i think the f9 button. Then compare the scores of:

+200 memory, +400 memory, +800 memory and no memory oc at all. Keep the core overclock the  same on all of them. In my experience memory overclocks over 400 remove performance.

So i should put mine at +350 or so ?

Btw like i said in the post, in my opinion its wierd, i can oc the card to +220 on the core in games like overwatch, csgo and so on. But if i play pubg, it crashes, so i have to lower the core to +150.

I run mine at +0, because even in benchmarks i didnt gain a single fps from any memory overclock, let alone in real games, and frankly why bother then. But i have gddr5 not gddr5x, so just run 2 quick heaven benchmarks. Do one without memory oc and one with +350, and see if you gain a single fps or not. If you dont gain anything then just run at +0

Seems like 0 on memory is best, first run with +350 on mem - 2943, second run with 0 on mem - 2909

Everything on max.

Been running an oc like that for a few months. No point in gaming though. Haven’t noticed a dam in a game.
