So I noticed a problem after messing around with ryzen master and disabling cores , and reinstalling the cpu , basicly I think one of my ram slots on my mb doesn't work anymore ( idk how to clean it or smth else)

The first clue was lower fps in some games ,I noticed in the control panel that it said 3.93 usable but 8 gb installed ?

So I went and unticked the use maximum memory at msconfig, but that didn't help

Second of all my computer beeps 3 times but it boots to windows ?

Third step was checking the sticks, First I switched them and it still worked and then I tried separtely and it still works ,the system doesn't beep but says 4gb installed (like usual bcs 2*4gb sticks)

IF u have any experience with this kind of stuff please rey immediatly AND thanks for reading !

Specs:

R3 1200 oc 3.6 ghz

AsRock Ab350m motherboard (without video outputs)

Gtx 1050ti

2 * 4gb sticks of ddr4 samsung 2133mhz memory

that 3.93gb usable is because ur running a 32 bit os, upgrade to a 64 bit to use more than 4gb

The OS and some light background apps can easily take up 4-5GB of your ram. I myself have an intel system with 16GB of memory, but with only firefox running, I'm using 5.1GB and have 10.8 available. This is perfectly normal and if you're making a gaming system, 16GB is the recommended value, especially for triple A titles.

I doubt this is the case, very few people actually run 32 bit OSes in this day and age. Driver support is dying off, which is starting to phase 32 bit systems out.

Have you tried using different slots? I would try testing each stick in every slot for starters, and seeing what happens then. So take one stick, and try using that in all your RAM slots and then do the same with your second stick.
