Well I don't think the XBone allows you to use a regular connector, so at the very least you need an adapter for that. The PS4 takes a normal 3.5mm jack so you could use the same one as you use on the PC if you like.

Case: Meatbag, humanoid - APU: Human Brain version 1.53 (stock clock) - Storage: 100TB SND (Squishy Neuron Drive) - PSU: a combined 500W of Mitochondrial cells - Optical Drives: 2 Oculi, with corrective lenses.

Well the audio quality has very little to do with the systems, you just need to make sure to get good headphones.

And actually, no the PS4 has a 3.5mm jack on the controller for audio.

"Meh" audio quality is the best you'll get with most headsets. It can sometimes be rather complicated to get all the different adapter you'd need for various consoles if you want to use nice headphones instead of a headset. I wish I knew what the connections were like on the new consoles to help with better advice, but I'm too busy with my PC Master Race duties to look into it.

The 360 couldn't output audio over USB, so I'm skeptical that'd work with the One. If it does, however, you could get a USB soundcard and use good headphones and a separate mic.

I am sure there are adapter kits you can get that will marry any headset to the myriad of devices out there.
