Hey guys if you can possibly help me with what happened to the death of two of my SSDs (Samsung960Evo240Gb/m.2 & Samsung850/2.5"500Gbssd) *Ok well, i recently made my new i7-7700k build and this time went with the newer, Samsung960EVO/M.2 w/250Gb storage. Since only 250gb storage isent that much, I did have an (pretty much new) Sam/850 2.5" 500Gb ssd from my previous build that I wanted to use/salvage into my new current build to use as mass-storage. But the issue was that, it had dif' copy of Win10 OS and pretty much the same data/Software/Programs as my current m.2 240Gb SSD. But ive been trying to Wipe all the data off the 2.5" 500Gb ssd by connecting it to my new build with the m.2 ssd. But Never booted! Even when i go into bios and set the 2.5" 500gb ssd as the primary boot option. BUT this time doing this again, im certain i corrupted "Both" SSDs because now I cant even boot into windows with my primary Samsung 960 M.2 240gb by itself! And removed the m.2 and tried booting with the Sam/500Gb 2.5" ssd (That i originally wanted to Wipe, & use as mass storage ssd in my new build) And that ssd wouldnt even boot either...basically i screwed both my ssds, and windows will not recognize any of the ssds when i tried reinstalling my OS...Unfortuntley came to conclusion that "somehow" managed to corrupt both my ssds by trying to boot into them both at the time on the same Pc, which i cant understand.. Thank You guys for taking your time to read this, and maybe you guys with your knowledge can confirm this? Or havr had same or similar experiences, & let me know what hap would really appreciated.. I already took measures and ordered a new CorsairMP500 130Gn M.2. SSD. Not alot of storage but will do for now untill I can buy more storage.

List the rest of your system specs.

Mostly need to know the motherboard model.

and by the way... don't boot into a windows install for another computer. That's a bad idea. You can format drives without even booting into windows by inserting a windows USB installer, going into your bios, choosing to boot to the thumb drive, and then when you get into the windows installation, near the beginning you can choose to format drives.

That's how I'd do it. Just because the data on your drives got corrupted doesn't mean that they're bricked or anything. Probably just need a reformat so do that next.
