I mean with current prices if you want to get into gaming, its a fine enough deal. You would probably end up replacing the GPU and monitor in a few year or so but the CPU and RAM is very strong.

It' 2 gb thx 960 and a 1tb hdd is this i5 4690k and 16 gb ram.

Is this worth it ?

Considering that current GPU prices are still inflated as well as RAM prices, buying a used PC seems to be the way to go to get into PC gaming on a budget. The i5-4690k can still hold its ground in most AAA games today and is still a decent performer, I say its aged fairly well. You could swap out the GPU eventually for a gtx 980 of 1060 6GB when GPU prices come down.

That looks like a 2.5" HDD to me but I could be wrong.

Why dont you tell the seller to take adequate pictures of the PC so you know for sure what specifications it has. Well, it looks like there is a hard drive at the botton and there is an SSD on top of the HDD.

-snip-

Exactly what did you do to enhance it? The inside of the case is still really blurry, and it's no easier to tell what is inside.

See if you can get a picture without the side panel so it's easier to see the interior of the case.

That doesn't do anything to enhance the picture quality.

For example, let's say I had a picture taken in the resolution of 480x480 pixels. I put that on my 1920x1080 pixel television, and it looks blurry. So I change the contrast and brightness, which makes it a little nicer to look at. However, the resolution and quality of the picture is still 480x480.

It is technically impossible to take a blurry image and "enhance it" to make it in-focus. Technology cannot take an image made up of a bunch of blurry pixels. Say you had a picture of text document that you couldn't read. It is not possible to make that image readable.

I think even without the SSD, 500 CAD is a pretty good deal.

The i5 is something like a Ryzen 3 or i3, the 960 is actually worth $200 right now, and 8GB RAM is $80+. Those are USD prices btw. So yeah, pull the trigger and if it's got an SSD, luckyy~

It's ok, I was just trying to help you understand some of that. That was partly on me, I didn't intend to sound angry or anything. Sorry about that mate.

But yeah, the main thing stopping us from telling if it's an SSD is how blurry the interior of the case is.

You can more easily see the rectangle that OP refers to in the "enhanced" image. And it's a 960 Gaming X which should be incredibly silent - I have the same cooler but on a RX 480 and it's basically inaudible while mining (still pretty quiet without its undervolt).

Not by enough to tell if it's an SSD or not(or I'm just getting old), but yes you're right.

Also judging by the way the LEDs are on that exhaust fan, it's probably a corsair AF120 / SP120 red LED

Just gonna say, I love those fans.

Another thing to look out for would be the power supply. Looks to be a semi-modular EVGA affair, but make sure it's a decent model.

I don't see it be semi-modular.

I do see the probably bronze cerfitication logo and the ketchup and mustard cables. This is likely a 500B/600B
