Hello everyone!

I'm thinking of buying an SSD M.2, but I do not know if I'll go with my HDD.

I decided to go on a WD (WDS240G1G0B) because I do not need something better.

* From what I hear, if I use a SSD M.2, It will deactivate my SATA ports. This is true?

* I want to use these two storage drives together (SSD M.2 and HDD).

I have a SATA HDD from Seagate. I'm happy with him and I do not want to get him out.

Mobo: MSI B250M Bazooka

1. No using an M.2 won't disable your SATA ports

2. Yes you can use them together, either by just initialyzing the M.2 as another drive, or installing an OS of you choice on it

Hope this Helps :)

Id go mx500 or 860 evo. Better drives, about the same price. And m.2 isn't any faster here, this is a sata drive.

Yeo you will have a disabled m.2 drive

your hdd will still work fine.

Yeah , sry didn't see that, but it only diables the SATA1 port "* The SATA1 port will be unavailable when an M.2 SATA SSD module has been installed in the M.2 slot." so he still use the orther 5
