So a friend of mine is buying her hubby a nice surround sound system that supports blue tooth wireless to stream from a PC.  The problem is she lives very far from me so I cannot physically help her.  I am looking on newegg and in order to wirelessly connect from her hubbies PC to his surround sound system would something like these work: http://www.newegg.com/Network-Bluetooth/SubCategory/ID-295/Page-2?Order=REVIEWS

My worry is, many of these either are less than 50 foot range and/or do not support windows 7.  Also how difficult is it to setup?  She's pretty computer literate as she has installed video cards and ram before and among many other things on her desktop.

Bluetooth adapters are generally really easy plug-n-play devices so it should be simple to setup. It would be best to buy an adapter with the most up to date bluetooth version such as 4.0 or 4.1. Either should do just fine.
