I had a z270i Motherboard with a built in wifi card and it consistently booted me offline while do anything sometimes.

Started using my USB wifi adapter I have been using for 3 years and no problem.

I swapped to a Asus b350i Motherboard for when I got Ryzen I thought it would have work.... I was wrong, same thing it boots me offline for about 30 seconds then I comes back.

Same thing, I used my USB Wifi adapter again and it works.

I have downloaded the latest drivers for everything for all Wifi adapters. Speeds work fine, I have plugged in the included Antennas obviously.

It's not out of range, hardly anyone is on my network,I live far away enough from people that other signals can't possibly mess it up that hard.

What's the deal?

Asus don't make WiFi. They make the motherboard. When makes the WiFi chips on the Asus boards?

Had similar experiences with an Asus Z77 wifi. Sometimes it worked just fine, sometimes random lag spikes, disconnects, etc. I Just quit using it and rolled a long ass cable across the room.

I already sold this rig so not my problem anymore. All i remember is that it was erratic. Too much to trust it with a daily youtube/facebook/whatsapp web load. Let alone gaming.
