planning to upgrade

looking to do a ryzen 5 1600x build i have a graphics card and a corsair 500w from my build i have right now. I need ddr4 ram and a mother board.I am currently running a 750ti and looking at Corsair - Vengeance LPX 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 Memory for my ram and i am looking at msi mother boards. i currently have a a55bm-plus/csm mother board and 8gb of hyperX ram and an embarassing a6-5400k cpu so it will be a huge upgrade as fallout 4 only runs decent in buildings. Im looking at around 500$CDN for what i need as i have the storage, case and gpu already. just need the ram, mobo, and cpu or should I go with a i7 7700k?
