Home theater plan

 

 

I was thinking on making either an ITX home theater with the new Ryzen 5 2400g OR with a 1200/1300x with a 1050(ti)

thinking about gpu prices now it might be the wise choice to just make it a 2400g and put a gpu in later if the needs change. should both be well for uhd/hdr and its like

If you have enough money to buy 1050ti and you want to game also, go for it.

But if you're main objective just to have a nice htpc to run 4k videos, a 2200 would be more than enough (no need for 2400).

Just don't expect it to play heavy games in normal framerate.
