First Time Building a PC Please Help

This is my first time ever building a PC, can someone please look over my build and give me some tips or tell me any better alternatives or if I have something that's kinda unnecessary? I would like to reduce the cost a little if possible as well. Thank you in advance.5a864fa9caa98_ScreenShot2018-02-15at9_20_49PM.thumb.png.7e85d154a746262b6b16e26a59a2cc69.png

Hi, I have a similar system, my suggestions:

- Instead of getting the Hyper 212, I would go for a Cryorig H7, it might cost 5 bucks more but you'll get better thermals. (I'm currently using a H100i on my 7700K but only because I already had it, I do own an H7 thats waiting to be installed on a coffee lake itx rig, trust me, it's good :)

- I would also get a slightly bigger PSU 700-750, that way you'll be sure that if you want to add another GPU in the future you'll be set, also make sure that you get a model that has 4x 8pin power connector from the psu to the GPU, that way you can put higher wattage cpu's like the 1080ti FTW3 in case you choose to upgrade.

my 2c :)

Hey all! Cooldablord123 here and I was just wondering if you could help me build a new rig. Not wanting anything for mining however a rig that can handle small editing workloads (mostly for college however again, SMALL) and also gaming of high settings on games like GTA V, CoD, Fortnite BR, PUBG, Fallout 4 and other Triple A titles. The budget would need to set in around $1000 USD not including keyboards, mice headphones etc because they are part of a different budget.

Thanks everyone!

Now isn't a good time to build a PC since RAM and GPU prices are ridiculous. Maybe hold off untll early May 2018.

get a coffeelake i5 or i7 instead of the 7700k, better cooler, a team vulcan 3000mhz 16gb kit is the same price and faster. also, get a cheaper 1060. what's your budget?

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

Somewhere around $1000. Preferably a little less, but it's not the end of the world.

that doesn't look like a $1000 build though, looks closer to $1200-1300.

Yeah, I went a little overboard lol, I can afford it, it's just a little more than I would prefer to pay.

I actually disagree. You can get much better preformance for a much lower cost. A ryzen 7 1700 is almost $100 cheaper and offers better preformance. A 8700k is only $30 more and is also alot better.
