No i did not overclock anything cuz i did not even know how to do it everything is stock , can the difference be that huge cuz he overclocked both his gpu and cpu cuz the difference is about 4000 score or so ?

Yes it can.

today i launched my first ever firestrike v1.1 benchmark:

My system specs:

Processor : i7 8700k @ 3.70Ghz

Ram : 1x 16GB crucial bullistix sport LT DDR4 2400 CL16

Gpu : Aorus gtx 1080ti Xtreme edition stock

Windows : Windows 10 Enterprise x64  Version 1709

OS Build : 16299.214

Motherboard : Gigabyte Z370 HD3P

PSU : bitfenix whisper M80 plus gold fully Modular 750w

SSD : No SSD i only have my hard drive

Hard disk : 1TB blue WD

so my fire strike score is 22855 while i saw one on the internet that has the same cpu and gpu specs that got 26988 and that is the link to his score https://www.3dmark.com/fs/13915286

so right now i want to know if my pc is underperforming and what i need to do to make sure that it is performing the way it should , well this is my first pc and i do not know what to do , i downloaded firestrike demo on steam then i launched it and made the 1.1v fs test so i hope i gave enough information and i hope someone would help me and Thank you

Did you overclock it? Cause the link you showed might be a heavy OC system

Well considering that person that got 26k had just about a 5.3ghz overclock on his cpu as well as an over 2ghz overclock on the GPU its probably just a difference in overclocks you are not underperforming.

System Specs

CPU: I7-5820k   MOBO:Asus X99 strix   RAM: 32gb corsair Dominator Platinum 2666mhz   GPU: Gigabyte G1 Gaming 980TI  PSU: Corsair RM1000i
