successfully did that many times before.

my method:

put the yoghurt upside down for a short while

peel carefully,make sure not to use any part of the yoghurt bowl thing as pivot

sometime it works.

if you can get the yoghurt to create a 'set' or hardened layer on top then you can take the lid off without it being stuck. Problem is this doesn't work with paper based lids
