Another Budget Monitor Recommendation Topic

I'm looking for a new monitor and would like some recommendations.

Price: < $300 CAD

Size: 24"-25"

Resolution: 1080p or 1440p

Panel Type: ips

Refresh Rate: Ideally 75hz+

Response Time: ideally <5ms gtg

Uses: Gaming, Media consumption

Other: Swivel and height adjust are not required but would be nice to have. Don't really need vesa compatibility but would be nice to have also.

I'm currently looking at:

LG 24MP59G: https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16824025515

Ticks all the boxes but some people seem to say that the panel isn't actually ips. The user manual also seems to state that the panel is actually tft.

Viewsonic VP2468: https://www.amazon.ca/ViewSonic-VP2468-Monitor-DisplayPort-DaisyChain/dp/B01HSABSGE/ref=sr_1_14?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1518348227&sr=1-14&keywords=ips

I have some conflicting information on this monitor. I've seen some places saying that it has a 5ms response time but the manufacturers website says 14ms. Refresh rate is only 60hz and is also a fair bit more expensive than the LG. Has swivel, height adjust, and vesa compatibility though.

Dell U2417H: https://www.amazon.ca/U2417H-24-Inch-UltraSharp-InfinityEdge-LED-Backlit/dp/B01D11JUAU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1518406308&sr=8-1&keywords=dell+U2417H&dpID=31H6b%2BotPpL&preST=_SX300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch

Based on the PCMag reviews, this one is quite comparable to the Viewsonic above. Price for both are about the same and colour calibration are both pretty good. So between these two, the only factor would be gaming performance. Unfortunately, the PCMag reviews didn't compare the two in terms of gaming performance.
