I recently build my own pc, and luckily it's working perfectly, however every couple of seconds or so i get some annoying screen tearing when either watching videos, or gaming. I have played around with V-sync settings but i can't fix the issue.

Monitor: Acer Predator XB271HU

GPU: GTX1060 6GB

Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this?

Even when watching videos? That's strange.

Maybe try wiping out your video card driver with DDU and install it again.

V-sync should solve this..

have you tried looking in the Nvidia control panel settings under manage 3D settings?

or how about going to resolutions in the same control panel and checking to see what refresh rate you're running at?
