Hello there!

I've had this idea for quite a while and I was wondering if anyone could help me set it up

So, I've had a Raspberry Pi 3 for a bit now and I got a flash on what I could do with it. I was wondering if it was possible to use the Pi as a sort of central hub in my house. I have a "gaming PC" with an R9 270 and a Phenom X6 1055T, which rests in my room. Thing is, the thing is really loud, so I was wondering if I could have it somewhere else in my house and use the Pi as a way to access it.

I know there is Window's remote desktop application available, but I was hope to run some games off of it. I know that I'll never be playing competitive CsGo games because I expect a delay, but I was thinking some Gamecube/Wii emulation and some Steam/Origin/Battle.net games.

Anyway, if any of you know an efficient way to set this up, I'd really appreciate it ^-^

Good day to you!

I used the nvidia gamestream and a moonlight client for my other pc, And it worked pretty good with even my horrible wifi, but i ran it at 720 60fps at 10mbps.

Sadly that doesn't work with AMD GPUs

Personally I would rather just run a cable. There are several 50ft (or longer) HDMI cables out there that work great at 1080p. Just run it through a wall in the next room or something. IMO, streaming is just not nearly as enjoyable or worth it, especially if the only reason is to make things quite.
