Where do I start.

So I buy this as part of my new build (Ryzen 5 1500x,  G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) and a GTX 970 I already had).  I put it all together and things are fine for a few days.  However, after a few days my system starts to randomly freeze.  After a few days more freezing and random re starts.  I look it up and it seems the RAM isn't compatible? (the serial number isn't the same as what is recommended)  so I get one that is ( G.SKILL Flare X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2400 (PC4 19200) AMD X370 / B350 / A320 Memory ...) And lo and behold the same thing continues to happen.  I begin the process of RMAing the mobo, print out the number and send it away.  Its been a month now and Im in email hell trying to figure out where my mobo is and what the status is.

I've had to buy a new mobo (https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA7RD6420515&cm_re=asus_320_prime-a-_-13-132-998-_-Product) and its so far so good , but my god I am frustrated.

Mine works fine and theres a reason it's a very reputable b350 motherboard. ;)

I saw good reviews which is why I got it.  As of now on Newegg there are 79 5 eggs and 46 1 eggs (all with the same problem I had)  So 60% positive isnt great odds.  I guess I was part of the unlucky 40%.  My new MOBO I caught from a local store and hes very trusted in Ottawa and he said he won't even stock Asrock products.

Every brand has issues, don't think Asus and Gigabyte dont..

The model you got is known to be pretty good, maybe was damaged in transportation or even some component failed.

well I finally got the RMA back with a new one , second times the charm?
