Is my mouse dying?

Hi everyone I'm having some troubles with my mouse and want to know if what im expiereincing is simply my computer being a dumby or if my mouse is starting to die on me. Basically i had an issue a few days ago where i was playing a game and my mouse just stopped moving around could aim at all(very annoying got ganked because of it) and thought ok maybe its just a one time flook nothing to be worried about until it happened again in the same game so then I figured ok this game is just being a butt and messing with my mouse. But then today I am playing a totally different game genre and all and it happened again. Ive never really had a mouse die on me before and the one I have now is quite expensive so not sure if it is even possible for mice to die lol 

The mouse in question is the Razer Mamba Chroma wireless (thou i use it in wired mode all the time only bought it cause it was on sale for cheaper than the regular lol) Any comments or even stories on your mice dying and if this is a sign of it would be very welcome. Thank you.

Could be several things. First things first, disconnect the mouse and try it in a different USB port, preferably a blue one for USB 3.0. Make sure the wire is fully connected into the mouse itself. Clean off the bottom of it with some isopropyl alcohol. Get yourself a solid mousepad, a single sheet of standard printer paper works great if you have nothing else.

I do use a mouse pad and already tried changing the usb port on it sadly ill try cleaning off the bottom thou had not thought of using alcohol for it thou.
