So I got an irksome problem.

I have AC Black flag/Watch_Dogs on uplay, and I would like to add them as a "Non steam game" on my steam library so I can track hours and such. The only problem is, when I do, steam enables controller emulation because it assumes that the game does not natively support controllers, which it does. Then it results with the game reviving "emulated" keyboard inputs as well as native controller inputs at the same time, making the entire UI glitch.

TL;DR: How can I force disable controller emulation on steam games.

By controller emulation I mean I am playing with an xbox 360 controller and steam is taking those and converting them to keyboard inputs (Ex: A -> Space) at the same time the game is registering the actual controller inputs.

Since I am to lazy to put something interesting here, I will put everything, but slightly abbreviated. Here is everything:

Are you using any third party software or drivers? I might suggest uninstalling the drivers and trying again? Also, which version of Windows?

What do you mean by third-party drivers? That is not the problem. The problem is caused by steam controller emulation, as I stated above. I can fix the problem when the game isn't connected to steam. I need to know how to disable controller emulation on the two non steam games.
