bit of a noob on which motherboard to choose what do you think is best. with my badget.

If possible build me a whole new pc. parts 870$ parts

that contain

Graphic card

PSU

Cpu

Motherboard

and Ram

This is gonna be pretty good upgrade for you, and I left about a $300 budget for a GPU, so you should be able to get something decent. In my area on Craigslist, GTX 970s and 980s go for 150-200. I saw a 980Ti for about 300 a while ago.

for that budget you might be better off going for a Ryzen 1600 system. tough DDR4 prices are skyrocketing lately.

DDR4 and GPU prices have been really high recently. I'd personally wait for the prices to calm down a bit

CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 1600Motherboard - Asus Strix B350-F GAMING, RAM -  Corsair Vengeance RGB 16GB (2x8GB) 3000Mhz CL15, GPU - Asus Strix GTX 1070Ti, Case - Phanteks Eclipse P400S, Storage - Crucial BX300 240GB + Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5", PSU - Corsair CS650M, OS- Win10 Pro

sorry

Ryzen is AMDs line in recent processors. they offer great price to performance. the Ryzen 1600 is a 6-core beast, that's even overclockable!

they need AM4 motherboards tough, and DDR4 RAM. especially DDR4 RAM can be pretty pricey lately, but the performance upgrade over a Haswell i5 is worth it!

Also, Ryzen 2 is being released this and next month which is apparently going to be 15% faster. I'd personally wait until at least Ryzen 2 is out.

4 more threads tough. multithreaded games(which are more and more these days)will greatly benefit from that. ;)

You'd be wasting a lot of money on the GPU and possibly RAM and missing out on Ryzen 2 if it's any good. If you don't feel buyer's remorse then go ahead I guess.

1. ram already got from my old pc is why i don't wanna switch to ddr4

2. 970 doesn't cost that much?

3. when is ryzen 2 coming out?

Consider getting a ryzen 5 1600X

And do yourself a favor and don't go for graphics card and generaly building a pc right now, new ryzen series is on it's way and will be released soon. Also volta and navi (new nvidia and amd graphics) are coming and they are a LOT better than gtx 10.. and vega series, let alone the gtx 900 series

i don't have the money even to get the new ones that will come out that's why i'm getting these parts. even if it came out no money to buy it. as i said budget 870

the only thing i'd be wasting money on from your point of view is the gpu? but the this gpu is.a good price? unless you know another gpu that goes along well with i5 4690k cpu and is cheaper? than the 970 and better..?

Volta probably won't be for gaming. Ampere would be more worth it I think. Also, Navi is coming late 2018.
