Two Audio Drivers for One Speaker

I have speakers in my monitor that are connected through the HDMI cable going into my graphics card. Up until recently there was only one option to select the speakers in playback devices, but now there is 2. https://i.imgur.com/HaPcorY.png when I turn on my computer only one works while the other doesn't play sound, but after a certain amount of time my monitor flashes black for a second or two, crashes whatever full-screen game I'm running, and then makes it so the driver I selected doesn't work anymore while the other one starts working and I have to switch over. I reinstalled the Nvidia drivers but it didn't help. Anyone know what's going on?

did you use DDU to uninstall the gpu driver? try that. that should completely uninstall anything related to the gpu. then reinstall it.
