Hello everyone, I have finally decided to build my own PC because I have a desire for PC gaming. I'm fairly new to this, so I may not be the most familiar with parts, but I do know how to build a PC as i have built one for a friend before.

Here are my goals:

1. Budget & Location

I have a budget of around $700-750 USD on the PC alone. The nearest micro center is a 50 minute drive away, but I may be able to go to one since I will be travelling soon.

2. Aim

My goal with this system is to be able to play games such as CS:GO at maximum settings/frame rate, while also being able to play newer games such as COD:WW2 at medium settings/60 FPS. It doesn't have to be overkill, but I would like to at least be able to handle newer games somewhat. I also plan on getting a 250 GB SSD drive for sure to go with a 1TB hard drive. I'm not sure what would be the best graphics card for my needs, since a GTX 1050 Ti might be too much.

3. Monitors

For right now I am only going to get one 1920x1080 144hz monitor, but in the distant future I might consider getting another one.

4. Peripherals

I'm probably going to end up buying a mouse and keyboard for cheap, so I'm not going to include them in the budget. I would like to have Windows 10 Home as my OS though.

5. Why are you upgrading?

I'm currently running on a Dell Inspiron, so the integrated graphics are pretty bad and I'm not able to play pretty much all the games I would like to play.

Any advice on builds/parts to consider are appreciated, Thanks a bunch!

Hello!

Don't have the time to suggest you a build, but keep in mind that this is a bad time to build a PC, due to GPU and RAM pricings.

Also, you can have Windows 10 from Kinguin for about 25 USD. That can save you some cash.

Don't buy parts for a pc right now, specifically ram and graphics card(s). Theyre severely overpriced.

If you really want to get into it, maybe take a look at pre built gaming pcs
