Hello there.

I am currently in the process of building my first PC with the intention of doing CAD work + gaming. Doing some research, Solidworks (CAD program i use) it is best suited to the Quadro series GPU where as gaming is best suited to graphics cards such as the GTX series (which is not a supported GPU of SolidWorks). To get around this I was thinking of getting x2 GPU's (1 for CAD and 1 for Gaming) however due to the limited desk space i have available space for only 1 monitor. Is there a way in which i can utilise both GPU's on 1 monitor and have the other graphics card inactive depending on what I am doing?

Any advice is greatly appreticated

yes you can use 2 gpu's for one monitor, you just have to open Nvidia control panel and flip each time you are working/gaming
