I want to upgrade my PC. I don't have a lot of money, I currently have an i3-2100. I would like to get an E5 1650, is that worth it? I'll be using it with my GTX 1050ti with 8gb of DDR3 ram.

I found some of them used on AliExpress.

Edit:- I found a motherboard for it, don't worry about the motherboard.

To be honest, I do not see much if any point to the i3 (nothing against you, they are just glorified and expensive Pentiums in my eyes). With a second gen processor, I'd be willing to bet you are starting to see it's age. Unfortunately, I would usually recommend going with a new system, but with your budget, I would probably go with what you've found. Check out Tech Yes City, he does a lot of budget and used stuff.
