Shadow Play causes low FPS

So I normally keep shadow play instant replay on so I can keep track of my "Greatest Moments in Gaming" or what ever the slogon is. However recently when i turn it on it causes unplayable frame rates, in the 20s - 30. however in csgo and pubg the frames are displayed as good 80(pubg) 230(csgo) so idk whats going on. Should i just switch software all together?
