Headphone selection

Good day everyone,

 

I have a slight problem choosing the right headset. I have an option between two 7.1 usb headsets and I need some guadence. I mainly play CSGO, PUBG and Paladins. The current headset I'm using is the Steelseries siberia v2 7.1 USB(https://www.amazon.com/SteelSeries-Siberia-Full-Size-Headset-Surround/dp/B002Q8IHEK) and the leather is staring to fall off after 3 years of use.

 

MY OPTIONS:

Headset 1 - Plantronics GameRig 500E Gaming Headset - Sport Edition (https://www.takealot.com/plantronics-gamerig-500e-gaming-headset-sport-edition/PLID41394738)

Headset 2 - Kingston - HyperX Cloud II Gaming Headset - Red (https://www.takealot.com/kingston-hyperx-cloud-ii-gaming-headset-red/PLID40640585)

 

I have had the Plantronics in my hands and on my head (but the 500 edition not 7.1) the sound is very soft but the size of the headset and the feel is really good.

I like loud Bass and obviosly want precision placements of footsteps.

 

Please if anyone can help me with their experience if you have one of these.

If you willing to spend that kind of money you should really look into getting a good set of headphones not another headset... DO NOT be sold on the 7.1 gimmick its fake a simple search in the forums here will show countless threads talking about this.

 

I would suggest you find a good set of headphones and a separate mic check the top of the audio forum for suggestions.!
